The Bible is supreme, not man-made traditions. The Christian world has been immersed in man-made traditions for the past five centuries. The nations have stopped worshiping the true living God, the only God most high, the Creator. As we find in Romans 1:25, the Bible says “Instead of believing what they knew the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they prayed to the things God made, but wouldn’t obey the blessed God who made these things.”

Have you ever wondered why the Christmas tree is decorated? Why the yule log is lit? It is time we learn about the true origins of Christmas and its traditions, and I'm sure you will never see Christmas the same way again.

In the northern hemisphere during late December, the days are at their shortest lengths and the nights are at their longest. For those of the pagan world, this time is called the “winter solstice”. It was during the pre-Christian mid-winter pagan celebrations of Scandinavia’s Norsemen, where today’s Christmas traditions began. As a means of honoring the pagan fertility God Yule, a 12 day celebration during the month of December was inaugurated (sound familiar? “12 days of Christmas”). A large single log, considered to be a filicidal was lit on fire and kept burning for 12 days. Animal or human sacrifices were offered in the fire in each of those days.

“Christmas Tree – The use of evergreen tree, wreaths and garlands to symbolize eternal life was a custom of the ancient Egyptians, Chinese and Hebrews. Tree worship was common among the pagans Europeans and survived their conversions to Christianity in the Scandinavian customs of decorating the house and barn with evergreens at the New Year to scare away the devil and of setting up of tree for the birds during Christmas time.”

Encyclopedia Britannica

All pagan feasts began in Babylon with Nimrod and Semiramis.

Nimrod built the tower of babel
Semiramis played a big role in building the spiritual world of Babylon

According to the Roman Catholic Church,
“Easter: the English term relates to Eostre, a tutonic goddess of the rising light of day and spring”

(spring equinox of pagan festival) Catholic Encyclopedia: Easter
“Easter derived from Eostre, or Eostrae, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring and fertility”

– Encyclopedia Britannica

All the following, refer to the fertility goddess Semiramis (wife of Nimrod/Baal):

Easter – English
Eostre – Anglo Saxon
Ishtar – Babylonian
Ashtoreth – Hebrew
Astarte – Greek

The pagan’s celebrated the first Sunday after spring equinox as Easter (Eostre) and would sacrifice humans on the altar and would take eggs dipped in blood. (This is definitely not the day our Christ Resurrected).
“…and they forsook the Lord, and served Baal and Ashtoreth” Judges 2:13

What has the goddess of fertility to do with the resurrection of Christ?

Josephus Works” books in which one can find everything to do with paganism recorded in them.

The uncorrupted disciples of Israel celebrated Passover - the crucifixion, burial and the resurrection of the Son of God.
Constantine in 325AD “It appears that the churches of Syria and Mesopotamia continue to follow the customs of Jews and celebrated Easter on the 14th day of the moon, whether falling on Sunday or not. All the other churches observed the solemnity on Sunday only” (the 14th day of the moon was how the Bible tells us to calculate Passover – (Nissan)
“This subject having being discussed, it was decreed to celebrate Easter on the same day…(Sunday), which was the practice of Rome” We are celebrating not according to the Bible, but according to roman rite.

Easter the Pagan Holiday

“To conciliate the pagans to nominal Christianity, Rome pursuing its usual policy, took measures to get the Christian and pagan festivals amalgamated, and by a complicated but skillful adjustment of the calendar, it was found no difficult matter, in general, to get paganism and Christianity – now far sunk in idolatry in this as in so many other things to shake hands…
This change of calendar, in regard to Easter was attended with momentous consequences. It brought into the church the grossest corruption and the rankest superstitions”
Alexander Hislop, The Two Babylons, p. 105-106

Truth is too important to be brushed aside, truth is to be obeyed! The Bible is the Truth! When the Bible speaks, it is God who speaks! Listen and Obey!

It is clear from the above quotations that we are once again believing in traditions concocted by man and his imagination. Would you rather believe and obey man or believe and obey the Truth given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? Make the decision soon, since time is almost running out! Your eternal destiny hangs on your explicit decision! Come onto the narrow path rather than walking on the broad road leading to ‘eternal damnation’!

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins... to redeem us from the penalty of death. He rose from the dead as promised so that we may rise with him and have everlasting life. This is the gift of Jesus to us. What reference does the word "Easter" have with the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ ? It is time to discern the Truth from the lies and deception. Today is the day we return to Christ and repent with a humble heart. He is waiting to give us the free gift of Salvation and Eternal life with Him forever!

Leviticus 26:1-3 “You must have no idols; you must never worship carved images, obelisks or shaped stones, for I am the Lord your God. You must obey my Sabbath law of rest, and reverence my tabernacle for I am the Lord. If you obey all of my commandments, “I will give you regular rains, and the land will yield bumper crops, and the trees will be loaded with fruits long after the normal time. And grapes will still be ripening when sowing time comes again. You shall eat your fill and live safely in the land.”

Ezekiel 20:7-11 “Then I said to them; get rid of every idol; do not defile yourselves with the Egyptian gods, for I am the Lord your God. But they rebelled against me and would not listen. They didn’t get rid of their idols, nor forsake the gods of Egypt. Then I thought, I will pour out my fury upon them and fulfill my anger against them while they are still in Egypt. But I didn’t do it, for I acted to protect the honor of my name, lest the Egyptians laugh at Israel’s God who couldn’t keep them back from harm. So I brought my people out of Egypt right before the Egyptians’ eyes, and led them into the wilderness. There I gave them my laws so they could live by keeping them. If anyone keeps them, he shall live.

Just as the people of ancient Israel turned away from God, disobeying his commandments, people all around the world, from every country today, are living in sin, refusing to accept the divine laws of God Almighty.

Pagan aspects in today’s churches

  • Eucharist sun burst IHS

You might hear people say that IHS is the acronym denoting the first three Greek letters of Jesus’ name – iota eta sigma, also referred to as “in his service”. Good people, we live during the last days, therefore, believe that the entire world is under the deception of the Devil. The symbol of IHS dates back to the ancient Egyptian times. It is and always was, Isis – Horus – Set. Don’t be deceived, IHS has nothing to do with Christian origin, but everything to do with the pagan worship of the sun god.
During most masses held in churches today, the priest shows the Eucharist to the people. The origin however came from the belief that, the Roman sun god is being incarnated into the host (that’s considered to be within the Eucharist symbol) to be worshiped and consumed. The Apostles and prophets warned that mixing God with sun worship is an eternal mistake.

  • Obelisks

“Obelisks were originally erected in honor of the sun god.”

“That connection comes from Egyptian worship of the Phallus.”

“The Phallus was a sculptural representation of the male

organ of generation. The worship of it is said to have

originated in Egypt.” “Osiris the sun god (male) was

killed by Typhon and cut up into 14 pieces. When Isis the

moon goddess (wife of Osiris) heard this, searched and

found all the parts of his body except his Phallus. She buried

all the parts and built a column (obelisk) as a symbol of his

erected phallus, the missing part and worshiped it.”

E of F. p727:761: 778,779

There are a number of Obelisks erected all around the world

today, most of which were taken from Egypt during the Roman

times. In the present age, these structures hold various symbolic

meaning to the people around. But the truth doesn’t change.

It’s an abomination according to the Bible. And it shall always

stay that way.

  • Sunday worship

Lord Jesus told us to pray with our hearts and souls. And only through Him can we be heard by the Father Almighty. Christians today believe that the Lord can be worshiped any day and it is perfectly fine to worship together on Sunday. It is true that we need to pray as much as we can, whenever we can. But, dearest friends, worshiping on the day that was not appointed by God is wrong. Sunday worship is wrong. There are some who even say that “Everyday is Sabbath. There is nothing wrong in worshiping God everyday” There is a difference between praying with our hearts everyday to Christ Jesus and worshiping on the day appointed by God Almighty – The Sabbath Day. Jesus upheld all the laws. There is no evidence that tells us where Jesus did not keep the Sabbath – Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath! If we are true Christians, the followers of Jesus, we would make it our life’s mission to abide by every word he gave us. “Keep the Sabbath holy” not Sunday.

Learn everything you need to know about the Sabbath in our page “Sabbath”.

  • Weekly communion of bread and wine (symbolism)

Elijah says in 1 king 18:21 “How long are you going to waver between two opinions?” he told the people, “If the Lord is God, follow him! But if Baal is god, then follow him!”
1 Corinthians 10:21 “You cannot drink from the cup at the Lord’s table and at Satan’s table, too. You cannot eat bread both at the Lord’s table and at Satan’s table.”

Collossians 2:8-10 “Don’t let others spoil your faith and joy with their philosophies, their wrong and shallow answers built on men’s thoughts and ideas, instead of on what Christ has said. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body; so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest Ruler, with authority over every other power.”

  • Pagan Calendar (The Gregorian Calendar of today)

The calendar of man is corrupt since they are named after the pagan deities.
Sunday – Named after the Sun God “Solis” (The first day of the pagan week)
Monday – Named after the Moon god
Tuesday – Named after Tiu, the Norse god of war
Wednesday – Named after Woden, The Celtic god of wisdom
Thursday – Named after Thor, the Celtic god of thunder
Friday – Named after Freya, the Celtic goddess of fertility
Saturday – Named after Saturn, the Roman god of agriculture (The seventh day of the pagan week)

Note: The Creator’s calendar has just ordinal numbers for the days of the week (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) and is defined by the different phases of the moon. [Reference: Genesis 1:3-29, 2:1-3]

The first day of the Creator’s month is determined when seeing the first sliver of the new moon, which is visible above the western horizon for just about an hour after sunset. The days of the week are calculated after this sighting.“In the time of the early prophets, the new moon stood in the same line with another lunar observance, the Sabbath. Ezekiel, who curiously enough frequently dates his prophesies on the new moon…describes the gate of the inner court of the new temple looking eastward as kept shut for the six working days, but opened on the Sabbath and the new Moon.” Scribner’s Dictionary of the Bible (1898 edition).p.521

Revelation 18:1-3

After all this I saw another angel come down from heaven with great authority, and the earth grew bright with his splendor.

He gave a mighty shout, "Babylon the Great is fallen, is fallen; she has become a den of demons, a haunt of devils, and every kind of evil spirit. For all the nations have drunk the fatal wine of her intense immorality. The rulers of earth have enjoyed themselves with her, and businessmen throughout the world have grown rich from all her luxurious living."

Then I heard another voice calling from heaven, "Come away from her, my people; do not take part in her sins, or you will be punished with her. For her sins are piled as high as heaven and God is ready to judge her for her crimes.

Do to her as she has done to you, and more - give double penalty for all her evil deeds. She brewed many a cup of woe for others - give twice as much to her. She has lived in luxury and pleasure - match it now with torment and with sorrows. She boasts, 'I am queen upon my throne. I am no helpless widow, I will not experience sorrow.'

Therefore the sorrows of death and mourning and famine shall overtake her in a single day, and she shall be utterly consumed by fire; for mighty is the Lord who judges her."

Truth or Tradition

                                        WAKE UP TO THE TRUTH

For "The Truth will set you free" John 8:32
Hear, O people ! The Lord is pleading with us.
"Come away from her my people; do not take part in her sins, or you will be punished with her. For her sins are piled as high as heaven and God is ready to judge her for her crimes" Revelations 18:4-5

Who is "her" ? - 'Her' is referred to as Babylon (Refer Revelations 18:2)
What about Babylon? Are we in Babylon? What has Babylon got to do with us? Are we the true Bible believers? Let's unravel together the Mystery of Babylon.

Before we do, let us reaffirm together, the statutes, commandments and the warnings of our mighty Lord of hosts.

Deuteronomy 4:15-19 "But beware you didn't see the form of God that day as He spoke to you from the fire at Mount Horeb. So do not defile yourselves by trying to make a statue of God, an idol in any form, whether of a man, woman, animal, bird, a small animal that runs along the ground or a fish. And do not look up into the sky to worship the sun, moon or stars. The Lord may permit other nations to get away with it but not you."
Deuteronomy 2:23 "Beware lest you break the contract the Lord your God has made with you! You will break it if you make any idols for the Lord your God has utterly forbidden these. He is a devouring fire, a jealous God."

The Counterfeit Religion

All pagan feasts began in Babylon with Nimrod.

  • Nimrod - A mighty hunter, was the grandson of Noah (reference Genesis)
  • Semiramus - Nimrod's wife, was the fertility goddess, according to the Babylonian folklore.

The ancient story goes that when Nimrod died, she, Semiramus deified him as the sun god, known as 'Baal/Bel/Marduk'

  • Tammuz - Semiramus claims to have been impregnated by the sun god and thus the birth of Tammuz.

In Genesis 11:1-9, we learn about Nimrod, a mighty hunter who wanted to build a tower in the plains of BABYLONIA, that would reach upto the heavens and thereby make a name unto themselves. They all spoke one language.
Then the Lord came down and saw what they were trying to do. So, he confused their speech, thus, the tower remained incomplete and was called as the Tower of Babel. (Babel - mixed up)

Thenceforth, people spread to different regions with different languages, nevertheless, they took with them this concept of sun god, mother goddess worship, and mother and child worship is very much alive even today. Archaeologists have unearthed idols of Semiramus and Tammuz, from individual Israeli homes.
Pagan worship/celebrations existed 3000 years before the rise of Christianity. Reference is found in Judges 2:14 "...were worshiping Baal and the Ashtorath idols." and in Judges 3:7 "...worshiped Baal and Ashtorath idols."

In Egypt - Isis, Horus, Seb
Isis - The goddess of fertility and war
Horus - Is the son
Seb - Is the sun god - Nimrod (Osiris)

These initials are the abbreviations for the names of the pagan Egyptian Trinity, they being Isis (I), Horus (H) and Seb (S).

You see how the occult worship has come down the ages/millenniums to this day. As predicted in the book of Daniel 7:24 "But then the ancient of days will come." So they are here, well and thriving.

"Ishtar: is the Assyrian and Babylonian goddess of fertility, love, war and sex"
-Wilkinson Phillip, Illustrated Dictionary of Mythology. N.Y; D.K. 1998, p.24

"Isis: is the Egyptian version of the Babylonian goddess Ishtar."
- Campbell Joseph, 'The Masks of God'. Occidental Mythology: N.Y, Penguin, 1976, p.70

Let's see what the prophet Zechariah describes about Babylon in Chapter 5:6-11 (This was during the second year reign of Kind Darius) "The Angel showed him 'a basket with a woman sitting inside it' and said 'She represents wickedness'." Babylon had, by the time of Zechariah, become a symbol, the center of world Idolatry and wickedness. Does this apply to the present day? Absolutely!

First Commandment : "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me." ...no Nimrod, no Osiris, no Isis, no Istaar, no Tammuz or Apollyon.

We must understand that we are in these last days and should therefore, come away from Jezebel (who worshiped Baal the sun god). Prophet Elijah says in 1 Kings 18:21 "How long are you going to waver between two opinions?" he asked the people, "If the Lord is God, follow him! But if Baal is god, then follow him!"

In 1 Corinthians 10:14, Apostle Paul, the ambassador of Christ says "So, dear friends, carefully avoid idol worship of every kind." v.21 "You cannot drink from the cup at the Lord's table and at Satan's table, too. You cannot eat bread both at the Lord's table and at Satan's table."

The Christmas tree is specifically a Babylonian symbol. On Christmas Eve, the yule log is thrown onto the fire. On Christmas day, there is the tree covered with decorations and surrounded with presents, representing the resurrected Nimrod of Babylon.”
The True Meaning of Christmas by Mike Gascoigne, 1996

“Christmas: The feast of Sol Invictus, on December 25th, was a sacred day in the religion of Mytraism, which was wide spread in the Roman Empire. Its god, Mytra, was a solar deity, of Persian origin, identified with the sun.”
New world Encyclopedia “Christmas”

The Truth:

Jesus Christ’s time of birth is during the festive season of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles). For the year of 2014, it started as the sun set on the 10th of October and ended as the sun set on the 17th of October. Sukkot, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles, is a Jewish holiday that lasts for 7 days and takes place during fall and is the true time of the Birth of our Messiah, Jesus Christ… contrary to the general belief that HE was born on the 25th of December. There is no Scriptural authority to claim that our Messiah was born on December 25th. In fact, most Biblical scholars agree that HE was not born in December at all.

Let’s look at some facts that indicate very clearly that Jesus Christ was born during Sukkot, on the fall.

  1. When Jesus Christ was born, the shepherds were at watch in their fields, (Luke 2:8) which could not have been in winter, since in Israel, the temperatures during winter nights can go as low as 0 degree centigrade.
  2. The Bible mentions that Bethlehem was “booked solid” (Luke 2:7). This would not have been due to the census which would have taken place over the period of a year. Every Jew was required to come to Jerusalem for Sukkot (Deuteronomy 16:16). This would have overrun Jerusalem as well as Bethlehem just five miles away.
  3. Jesus Christ was born in a stable. The Hebrew word for “stable” is “sukkah” (as in Genesis 33:17), so Jesus Christ was born in Sukkah/booth. Sukkot is symbolic of God dwelling in a “tabernacle” (body) with us. The name Immanuel, meaning “God with us” was given to Jesus Christ, in fulfillment of Isaiah 7:14 as stated in Matthew 1:2-3.

Sukkot is known as “The Season of our rejoicing”, also “the Season of our Joy”, a fitting time for God the Father to choose for HIS Son to be born in this world and the time for all to rejoice in the Salvation that God Jehovah has given us through HIS Son.

"Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD and delight in his salvation" Psalm 35:9

"Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:10-11

In the Bible, the Prophet Zechariah spoke a significant Prophecy concerning Sukkot/ The Feast of Tabernacles. In the end of days, and after the time of Jacob’s trouble, the Great Tribulation, Israel and all the nations will be commanded to come to Jerusalem to celebrate Sukkot/ Feast of Tabernacles.

“Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem  will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths.” Zechariah 14:16

Zechariah’s prophecy proves that God Almighty has not done away with this Jewish Feast, and that it still stands, no matter what manmade doctrines say about the Jewish Feasts. Sukkot is truly an anointed Feast of Great Importance to the Lord of Hosts, and evidence points to this time as the time of Jesus’s true time of birth.God inspired Moses to warn parents of the grave responsibility that they have in what and how they teach their children. Notice His instruction in Deuteronomy 6:1, 6-7, 20-21, 25: “Now these are the commandments…which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you go to possess it…And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart: And you shall teach them diligently unto your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up… And when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God has commanded you? Then you shall say unto your son, we were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand…And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as He has commanded us.”

  • Various symbols adopted by the church

According to Morals and Dogmas, Albert Pike writes that Isis and Osiris: “The Active and Passive principles of the universe, were commonly symbolized by the generative parts of man and woman…The Indian lingam was the union of both, as were the boat and the mast and the point within a circle, all of which expressed the same philosophical idea as to the union of the two causes of nature, which concur, on actively and the other passively, in the generations of all beings…”

Albert Pike, Morals and Dogmas of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Freemasonry 1344, p.491

Jeremiah 10:2-5, “Thus says the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen…For the customs of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.”

This plain description of the modern Christmas tree is clear. God directly refers to it as “the way of the heathen.” Just as directly, He commands His people to “learn not the way of the heathen,” calling these customs “vain.”
Santa Clause is a fictitious figure evolved out of many traditions from Germany, Denmark to UK and also attributed to St Nicholas, 16th Century of the Roman Catholic Church. Santa is made into a supernatural character who knew all the children and knew whether they were good or bad and parents for many centuries have been filling their hearts and minds about the so called lovable Santa. In fact, he was meant to take the place of Jesus. Parents were supposed to teach their children and fill their hearts and minds with the love of Jesus, His holiness and His righteousness.
“Old Nick” has long been recognized as a term for the devil. In Revelation 2:6 and 15, we read about a “doctrine of the Nicolaitanes,” which Christ twice tells His Church “[He] hates.” Let's analyze the word Nicolaitane. It means “follower of Nicholas.” Nikos means “conqueror, destroyer.” Laos means “people.” Nicolaitanes, then, are people who follow the conqueror or destroyer—Nimrod.
With all these facts, it is clearly seen that we have for so many generations, been living in deception, as Jesus says in Matthew 34:4 “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.” Let us pray, to discern the truth.

The Importance of Nativity

1. The sanctity of the birth of Christ, was lost on most of the world. The meek and lowliness, the humble birth of Jesus in the stable stands contrast to the red bows, hollies and revelry of our times.
2. The winter celebrations were so detestable that Oliver Cromwell (1599-1658) banned them and rid England of such holiday. Christmas was not a popular holiday in US. Banned and outlawed in Boston in 1840.
3. It was not until corporate advertising had a huge impact on holidays in December (It was Coca Cola advertisement that first brought the figure of Santa Clause in 1870 in US).

There is evidence that shows the roots of Christmas traditions to go back to ancient Babylon and Rome. Saturn was the Roman God of time and Saturnalia became known as the festival of fools (a time of feasting and revelry). By the 4th century, the government along with the Church of Rome, lost control of the growing number of pagan practices, chose instead to adopt them into Christianity. It was Constantine (Roman Emperor of that time) who instituted this belief. The church believed this would attract more pagans into their fold. Up until this time, the birth of Jesus Christ hadn’t been celebrated at all. Ignoring scriptures, however, indicating that the birth did not occur during the winter, the church, nevertheless, infused biblical history and made Jesus’s birthday coincide with the pagan god mitra. The birth date of the sun god had now become the birth date of the “Son of God”.

Acts 17:30-31 “God tolerated man's past ignorance about these things, but now he commands everyone to put away idols and worship only him. For he has set a day for justly judging the world by the man he has appointed, and has pointed him out by bringing him back to life again.”

Popular pagan festivals - Quarterly pagan celebrations

1. Winter Solstice (Yule): Yule is the time of greatest darkness and the longest night of the year. The winter solstice had been associated with the birth of a “divine king” long before the rise of Christianity. Since the sun is considered to represent the male divinity in many pagan traditions, this time is celebrated as the return of the sun god, where he is reborn of the goddess.
2. Spring Equinox (Eostre)
3. Summer Solstice
4. Fall Equinox (Mabon)

"Those who believe him discover, that God is the fountain of Truth."
John 3:33
