"Bible and Bible alone is the key to the Scriptures. Observance of Sunday is a man- made tradition. The Protestants had a great opportunity to stand up on the Word of God alone. But they failed in implementing."
Sunday Times 05-09-1999
Reminder:
Exodus 31:13 "Tell the people of Israel to rest on my Sabbath day; for the Sabbath is a reminder of the covenant between me and you forever; It helps you to remember that I am Yahwah who makes you holy."
Ezekiel 20:12 "And I gave them the Sabbath a day of rest every seventh day, as a symbol between them and me; to remind them, that they are truly my people."
325AD, Pope Sylvester – named Sunday as “the Lords Day”.
Sabbath was given as a blessing for rest- gift, and seal of God. (Sunday) It is a deceptive trap. The enemy had taken away a big blessing from his people on Sabbath. Jews and gentiles gathered on Sabbath.
The official change of name. Pope Sylvester officially named Sunday “the Lords Day” and in 338AD, Eusebius, the court Bishop of Constantine, wrote “All things whatsoever that it was the duty to do on the Sabbath [the seventh day of the week , we [Constantine , Eusebius, and other Bishops] have transferred to the Lords Day [the first day of the week] as more appropriately belongs to it.” Who was ruling then? Rome. Thus Rome makes the rule. The first day of the week was recommended by Constantine to his subjects, Pagan and Christian alike, as the ‘Venerable Day of the Sun’. Constantine published the Edict of Milan, granting freedom of religion in the empire and establishing Sunday as a day of worship. "On the venerable day of the sun let the Magistrates and the people residing in the cities rest, and let all the workshops be closed.” - Constantine 321AD [COLLIERS ENCYCLOPEDIA.] vol 7 p.212. Later baptized by the Roman Catholic Church.
“Sunday is our mark of authority. The Church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.” - The Catholic record, London, Ontario, September 1, 1923.
"Perhaps the boldest thing, the most revolutionary change the church ever did happen in the first century. The Holy day Sabbath was changed to Sunday not from any directions noted in the scriptures, but from the churches sense of its own power. - Saint Catherine's Catholic Church Sentinels ; May 21, 1995.
“The Pope has power to abrogate laws and to dispense with all things even the precepts of Christ.’
- Decretal De Translat Episcop. Cap.
“The Sabbath was binding in Eden, and it has been a force ever since This commandment begins with the word 'remember' showing that the Sabbath already existed when God wrote the law on the tables of stone at Sinai. How can man claim that this one commandment has been done away with when they will admit the other nine are still binding?" - D L Moody, Weighed and Wanting.p.47, Moody Bible Institute
The book of Daniel 7:25 prophesied that "He will defy the Most High, and wear down the saints with persecution, and try to change all laws, morals, and customs..." Hence Bible predicts and proves the fulfillment of its prophesy.
“The sun was foremost god with heathendom -There is in truth, something royal, kingly about the sun, making it fit emblem of Jesus, the sun of justice. You will find on ancient Roman coins , the image of the Roman Emperor on the one side and the sun god on the other side." - The Catholic World p.809. March 1994.
Catholic Church has openly claimed to have changed it. “Yes, of course, it is inconsistent; but this change was made about fifteen centuries before Protestantism was born, and by that time the custom was universally observed. They have continued the custom, even though it rests upon the authority of the Catholic Church and not upon an explicit text in the Bible. " - The Faith of Millions p.400-401
This was not simply a change of worship days, but was a change of calendars. Rome in the 4th century, adopted the modern counterfeit pagan calendar and outlawed the Biblical Luni-solar calendar. The papacy also removed the 2nd commandment which forbids idol worship. In order to keep 10 commandments, they divided the 10th into two parts.
Matthew 5: 17-18 Jesus said, “Think not that I have come to destroy the law, or the prophets, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or title shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled.”
Malachi: 3: 6 “For, I am the Lord, I change not”
Matthew 7:9 “For you ignore God’s specific orders and substitute your own traditions,”
Deuteronomy: 12-4 “You shall not worship the Lord your God with such things.”
The church will be put together by God himself. He is going to send prophets with his spirit to speak with authority and insist on that and say that now is the time to come together in his spirit in unity and truth.
2 Thessalonians 2:12-13 "And all of them will be justly judged for believing falsehood, refusing the Truth, and enjoying their sins. But we must forever give thanks to God, for you, our brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose from the very first to give you salvation, cleansing you by the work of the Holy Spirit and by your trusting in the Truth."

Sabbath was established at the time of creation. Genesis 2:2-3 “And on the seventh day God ended his work… and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it.”
Exodus 20:8-11 “Remember to observe the Sabbath as a holy day. For in six days the Lord made the heaven, earth and sea, and everything in them, and rested the seventh day so He blessed the Sabbath day and set it aside for rest.”
Make no mistake, have no doubt – for every word of the commandments came out of the mouth of The Creator, in front of all the people who stood there trembling with fear. (See Exodus 20:18)
Malachi 3:6 “I am the Lord, I change not.”
Jesus kept the Sabbath
Luke 4:16 “And he came to Nazareth… and according to his custom, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read.”
Luke 4:31-32 “He went down to Capernaum… and taught them on the Sabbath days.”
His disciples kept the Sabbath too.
Acts 16:12-13 “Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Luke records that “And on the Sabbath… we went out … where prayer was known to be made and we sat down...”
Paul’s teachings on Sabbaths to Jews and Gentiles
Acts 13:44 “Then on the coming Sabbath, almost the whole city was gathered together to hear the word of God”
Isaiah 58:13 “If thou turned thy foot away from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord’s.”
Mark 2:28 “Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath”
It therefore clearly establishes that the Lord’s Day is the Sabbath.
Let’s go back to the Bible and check if we have been forewarned about the change to be.
Daniel 7:21-25 says that - the little horn seeks to change times and laws.
Daniel the Prophet saw in his vision four beasts. ‘Beasts’ in the Bible means ‘kingdoms’ or ‘kings’. The ‘little horn’ comes out of the fourth beast in Daniel’s vision. The fourth power is the ‘Roman Empire’. True, it was Constantine, the Roman Emperor, who first changed the Sabbath to Sunday in his edict of 321AD.
Hence, whom do we obey? God or man?
God the Creator said – “You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between you and me for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.” Exodus 31:13
Observing the Sabbath is an important part of the first angel’s message.
Revelations 14:7 “Fear God… worship him who made the heaven and the earth, the sea and all its sources”
Please do not make the mistake of thinking that the Sabbath falls on Saturday, the seventh day,
(as we know it) in our calendar, but, the real Sabbath is calculated according to the Lunar calendar
(our Lord’s calendar), which will be dealt with in detail in our next message.
The Roman Catholic Church admits in their own writings:
SABBATH DURATION:
Dec 8th, 2024 6pm to
Dec 9th, 2024 6pm
Next Sabbath:
Dec 15th, 2024
Evidence and proof from the scriptures about Sabbath keeping:
Mark 15:42 "This all happened the day before Sabbath. Late that afternoon, Joseph from Arimathea, an honored member of the Jewish Supreme Court (who personally was eagerly expecting the arrival of God's kingdom) gathered his courage and went to Pilot and asked for Jesus' body."
Mark 15:46 "Joseph bought a long sheet of Linen cloth and, taking Jesus' body down from the cross, wound it in the cloth and laid it in a rock-hewn tomb, and rolled a stone in front of the entrance." (This was done before Sabbath began)
Mark 16:1-7 "Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away—for it was very large. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”
(Promise made is a promise kept for all eternity)
Psalm 89:24 "I will protect and bless him (Jesus) constantly and surround him with my love; he will be great because of me."
1 Chronicles 17:27 "May this blessing rest upon my children, for when you grant a blessing Lord, it is an eternal blessing."
Malachi 3:6 "For I am the Lord, I do not change;"
Some say that maybe Jesus changed the Sabbath. This a speculation, for John 10:30 says "I and My Father are one.” and Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath.
John 4:34 "My nourishment comes from doing the will of God who sent me, and from finishing his work.
Luke 4:16 "When he came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, he went as usual to the synagogue, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read the scriptures.
Matthew 5:17-19 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 24:20 "But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day"
John 15:10 "When you obey me, you are living in my love, just as I obey my Father and live in his love.
Acts 13:14 "But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and sat down."
Acts 17:1-3 "Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ."
Act 18:4 "And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks."
True Christians are going to choose whether to accept pure worship or false traditions (worshiping on sundays, christmas, easter) and the Sabbath is the sign and sanctification of God.
Exodus 31:13 "“Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you."
Ezekiel 20:12 " Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them."
John 17:8 " For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me."
The Lord God Almighty, makes a New Covenant
Hebrews 8:10 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."
Ezekiel 22:26 "Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them."
Ezekiel 22:8 "You have despised My holy things and profaned My Sabbaths."
Hosea 8:12 "Even if I gave her ten thousand laws, she would say they weren't for her - that they applied to someone far away"
History always repeats itself. This is the response we get by Christians these days, when speaking about the Sabbath. They try to convince others by saying, since Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the week (Sunday according to Gregorian calendar) and therefore the protestants keep Sunday and not Sabbath (the seventh day of God's calendar) as the true worship day.
Mark 2:27 "But the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath."
Ezekiel 20:11 "There I gave them my law so they could live by keeping them.
If anyone keeps them, he shall live."

Historical Evidence of the change:
For God is restoring 'everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets'.
The Sabbath of the Lord has three important aspects:
1. Rest
2. Holy
3. Sign
SIGN:
Ezekiel 20:12 “Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.”
God first gave us his law to obey. When we obey his law, we acknowledge him, making it known that we are his people. This is the “sign” that the Lord is looking for – the “sign” of obedience – the “sign” that says, God almighty is “Our Lord”. It is from this point on that God takes complete charge over us, helping us to obey his laws and keep his commandments.
The Lord never changes. His pattern of “everything” is always the same.
Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I change not”
When the Lord saw his beloved people Israel suffering under the tyranny of the Egyptian Pharaoh, he called Moses and asked him to give the Passover law to his people. Each family was asked to take a year old blemishless lamb and smear its blood on the two side frames of the door and the panel above the door. This is called the “Lord’s Passover”.
Exodus 12:13 “The blood you have placed on the door post will be proof that you obey me and when I see the blood I will pass over you and I will not destroy your firstborn children when I smite the land of Egypt.”
In the same way, God so loved the world that he gave his only beloved Son to die on the cross, to save us from the sins of the world. Jesus Christ is the blemishless Lamb of God.
Whosoever receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will have everlasting life.
In the Lord’s prayer that Jesus taught us, he prophesied “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven…” So did Isaiah!
Isaiah 66:22-23 “As surely as my new heavens and earth shall remain, so surely shall you always be my people, with a name that shall never disappear. All mankind (God’s people) shall come to worship me from week to week (Sabbath to Sabbath) and month to month (new moon to new moon).”
Ezekiel 46:1 “The Lord God says, the inner walls eastern entrance shall be closed during the six work days but open on the Sabbath and on the days of the new moon celebrations.”
Genesis 2:2-3 “And on the seventh day God ended his work… and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it.”
Exodus 20:8-11
"Remember to observe the Sabbath as a holy day. Six days a week are for your daily duties and your regular work, but the seventh day is a day of Sabbath rest before the Lord your God. On that day you are to do no work of any kind, nor shall your son, daughter, or slaves - whether men or women - or your cattle or your house guests. For in six days the Lord made the heaven, earth, and sea, and everything in them, and rested the seventh day; so he blessed the Sabbath day and set it aside for rest."
Amen.

"For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."
Matthew 12:8
First Angel’s Message:
Revelation 14:7 “Fear God,’ he shouted, ‘and extol his greatness. For the time has come when he will sit as Judge. Worship him who made the heaven and the earth, the sea and all its sources.”
How to worship the Lord?
Ezekiel 20:12 “Hallow thy Sabbaths for this is the sign between you and me, that I am the Lord your God.”
The Seal of God
Exodus 20:8-11 “Remember to observe the Sabbath as a holy day. Six days a week are for your daily duties and your regular work, but the seventh day is a day of Sabbath rest before the Lord your God. On that day you are to do no work of any kind, nor shall your son, daughter, or slaves – whether men or women – or your cattle or your house guests. For in six days the Lord made the heaven, earth, and sea, and everything in them, and rested the seventh day, so he blessed the Sabbath day and set it aside for rest.”
A blessing is pronounced
Isaiah 56:2-3 “Blessed is the man who refuses to work during my Sabbath days of rest, but honors them; and blessed is the man who checks himself from doing wrong. And my blessings are for gentiles, too, when they accept the Lord.”
Ordained at Creation
Mark 2:27-28 “And he said unto them, the Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath.”
Jesus Christ and his disciples honored the Sabbath
Luke 4:16 “And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.” Acts 13:42-44 “As the people left the synagogue that day, they asked Paul to return and speak to them again the next week…the following week almost the entire city turned out to hear them preach the Word of God” (on the Sabbath day)
The Ordinance has been forsaken
Daniel 7:25 “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”
The work of Sabbath reform to be accomplished is foretold in the prophesy of Isaiah
Isaiah 58:12 “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shall be called, the repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in.”
God’s Promise
Isaiah 58:13-14 “If you keep the Sabbath holy, not having your own fun and business on that day, but enjoying the Sabbath and speaking of it with delight as the Lord’s holy day, and honoring the Lord in what you do, not following your own desires and pleasure, not talking idly – then the Lord will be your delight, and I will see to it that you ride high, and get your full share of the blessings I promised to Jacob, your father. The Lord has spoken.”
In the end God’s people will obey
Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
God’s law is for all eternity
Isaiah 66:23 “All mankind shall come to worship me from week to week and month to month.”
(Week to week - Sabbath to Sabbath. Month to month - New moon to new moon.)
Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I do not change…”
Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever”
The Lord’s second Covenant
Hebrews 10:16 “This is the agreement I will make with the people of Israel, though they broke their first agreement: I will write my laws into their minds so that they will always know my will, and I will put my laws in their hearts so that they will want to obey them’ And then he adds, ‘I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.’”

The work of Sabbath reform to be accomplished in the last days is foretold in the prophecy of Isaiah. “Be just and fair to all, the Lord God says; Do what’s right and good, for I am coming soon to rescue you. Blessed is the man who refuses to work during my Sabbath days of rest but honors them; and blessed is the man who checks himself from doing wrong. And my blessings are for Gentiles, too, when they accept the Lord; don’t let them think that I will make them second class citizens.” Isaiah 56:1-3
These words apply in the Christian age.
Again the command is given,
Isaiah 58:1 “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression and the House Jacob their sins.”
The prophet thus points out the ordinance which has been forsaken:
Isaiah 58:12-14 “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shalt honor him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”
Where will God's seal be put on a person ?
Revelation 7:2-3 "And I saw another angel coming from the east, carrying the Great Seal of the Living God. And he shouted out to those four angels who had been given power to injure earth and sea, "Wait! Don't do anything yet - hurt neither earth nor sea nor trees - until we have placed the Seal of God upon the foreheads of his servants."
Ezekiel 20:20 "Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God."
Learn the truth and come closer to christ Jesus
Dear Friends,
The Spirit of Prophesy woke me up in the year 2014 and told me that the Lord is coming soon, “Wake up and prepare”. He revealed to me a vision of Ezekiel 8:22 where God takes the prophet into the inner court and shows him “…twenty five men standing with their backs to the temple of the Lord, facing east worshiping the sun!” Immediately it was clear that God was pointing to the error of our worship. We are worshiping on Sunday (the 'sun' worship day), dedicated by the Roman Empire/Emperor to the veneration of the sun god. All pagans worshiped the sun as their god and the Romans worshiped "Sol Invictus" as their main deity.
There is no mention of Sunday worship in the Bible.
I would like to quote from the reformer Grattan: - “This generation is dangerously latitudinarian – indifferent to Truth and Error on points on which scripture is tremendously decided and absolutely clear”.(Grattan Guinness Romanism and the Reformation Harley House Bow. E. June 1st 1887)
The First Fruits Restorers
The Lord said to Moses Leviticus 23:1-3 “And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.” This shows that the Sabbath is the first appointed time."
Genesis 1:14 “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:”
Psalm 104:19 “He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.”
“The Hebrew month is a lunar month and the quarter of this period – one phase of the moon – appears to have determined the week of seven days.” Encyclopedia Biblica (1899 edition) p.4780
The Universal Jewish encyclopedia, also says that “…each lunar month was divided into four parts corresponding to the four phases of the moon. The first week of each month began with the new moon so that, as the lunar month was one or two days more than four periods of seven days, these additional days were not reckoned at all.” (vol 10. p. 482 Article “Week”)
“…the early Hebrews employed Lunar Seven Day Weeks…which ended with special observances on the seventh day but nonetheless were tied to the moon’s course.” Hutton Webster in his book, “Rest Days”, p.254-255
“The four quarters of the moon supply an obvious division of the month…it is most significant that in the older parts of the Hebrew scriptures the new moon and the Sabbath are almost invariably mentioned together. The (Lunar) month is beyond question an old sacred division of time common to all the Semites; even the Arabs who received the week from quite a late period from the Syrians, greeted the new moon with religious acclamations. We cannot tell (exactly) when the Sabbath became dissociated from the month.” Encyclopedia Biblica (1899 edition) p.4178,4179
It is a historical fact that the Sabbath and the weeks are regulated by the moon.
“In the time of the early prophets, the new moon stood in the same line with another lunar observance, the Sabbath. Ezekiel, who curiously enough frequently dates his prophesies on the new moon…describes the gate of the inner court of the new temple looking eastward as kept shut for the six working days, but opened on the Sabbath and the new Moon.” Scribner’s Dictionary of the Bible (1898 edition).p.521
Philo who lives in Alexandria during Jesus Christ’s days, said this – “The moon receives the perfect shapes in periods of seven days – the half-moon in the first seven days’ period after its conjunction with the sun, full moon in the second…” The works of Philo, The Special Laws I, XXXV (177) p.550
